KAVA, EXPLAINED

Kava vs. Alcohol: Different Drinks, Different Traditions

Kava is a water-prepared root drink, not alcohol. A clear distinction without promises about effects or personal suitability.

Two different drinks

Traditional kava is prepared from the root of Piper methysticum and water. Alcoholic drinks contain alcohol produced by fermentation or distillation. Ritualt describes its kava drink as naturally alcohol-free.

Being alcohol-free does not make a product safe for everyone or suitable for every situation. Kava has its own responsible-use considerations.

Not a medical comparison

This page does not compare the effects, health risks, or suitability of kava and alcoholic drinks, and it does not recommend one in place of the other. Do not combine kava with alcohol. Read the product label and the responsible-use guide.
