KAVA, EXPLAINED

Kava FAQ: The Questions People Ask First

A straightforward place to begin. We mark unconfirmed Ritualt details rather than guessing.

The basics

Kava is made from the root of Piper methysticum and is traditionally prepared with water. It is earthy and peppery. Ritualt describes its root as 100% noble kava from Vanuatu.

Noble refers to a traditional variety group, not one particular cultivar. Ritualt’s specific cultivar has not been confirmed here.

Preparation and amount

Follow the directions on your product package. The traditional water method uses a strainer bag. Ritualt’s final serving amount is not confirmed here, so we do not recommend a dose.

Availability and testing

Ritualt has invited visitors to join its launch waitlist. The current site has described a planned 1 kg pouch; pricing, final packaging, launch date, testing, and shipping regions have not been confirmed here.

Responsible use

Adults only. Do not drive or operate machinery after drinking kava, and do not combine it with alcohol. Talk with a healthcare professional if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication, or have liver problems.

  • Read the full responsible-use guide.
  • Check local requirements before ordering.
