Vanuatu Kava: The Pacific Home of Ritualt’s Root

Kava is part of everyday and community life in Vanuatu. Here is what Ritualt says about its sourcing—and what remains to be documented.

Rooted in the Pacific

Kava has long-standing cultural importance across the Pacific, including Vanuatu. The ways people grow, prepare, and share it belong to many distinct communities and traditions.

This guide aims to approach that heritage with care. One brand or image cannot stand in for the people and communities who carry these traditions.

What we can confirm

Ritualt identifies Vanuatu as the origin of its noble kava root. This site does not yet have verified information about a specific island, village, grower, cultivar, harvest, or batch.

The landscape image on the home page is editorial imagery, not a documented Ritualt farm. Product traceability and testing information will be added only when verified.

What we want to share

We plan to provide more detail about cultivar, the part of the plant used, processing, and batch documentation when that information is confirmed. In the meantime, we would rather be specific about what is unknown than imply a connection we cannot substantiate.
